Overview
The TBB RiiO Sun II 5KVA-S is a 5kVA all-in-one hybrid inverter for 48V batteries: a transformer-based pure sine wave inverter, battery charger, MPPT solar charge controller and a 4 ms automatic transfer switch in one unit. It runs loads from solar first, charges the battery, and can take power from the grid or a generator.
About this item
- POWER: 5000 VA continuous at 25 °C, 10000 W peak (300% surge), up to 94% efficient, 22 W with no load.
- BATTERY: 48V (42-68 V); lead-acid (AGM, GEL, OPzV, lead-carbon, flooded, traction) or lithium; absorption 57.6 V, float 55.2 V.
- SOLAR: built-in MPPT charger, 2 trackers, 65-245 V MPPT range, 250 V max. open circuit, 4400 + 4400 W allowable PV per tracker, up to 5760 W @ 57.6 V (2880 W per tracker).
- GRID AND GENERATOR: 175-265 VAC input, 60 A AC charger, 50 A transfer switch that changes over in 4 ms, Power Assist, Power Control and AGS; smart port for a generator or second AC output.
- SYSTEM: parallel and three-phase up to 12 units (96 kVA); Bluetooth setup with the TBB Nova app, RS485 (GPRS/WLAN optional), programmable relay.
- BUILD: transformer-based, IP21 with fan cooling, 570 x 310 x 154 mm, 29 kg, works from -20 to 65 °C.
